With spring right around the corner get your flower beds ready and looking good with these simple tasks!

  1. Clean up leaves and debris out of your beds. You will want to get this done as soon as possible before spring bulbs start to come up. There will be a lower risk of damaging bulbs by starting clean up sooner.
  2. Pull out any annuals that may have gotten left behind.
  3. Get your winter kill cut back and old growth on plants/trees/shrubs while they are still dormant. This will encourage new growth to come.
  4. Now is also a good time to divide/transplant perennials before new growth starts.

Hopefully with warmer weather on the way we will begin to see forsythia, crocuses, early daffodils start to bloom!
